New Zealand

Joel and Beverly, along with their children, Daniel, Joseph and Sarah, are serving the people of Napier, New Zealand, through the Bay Baptist Church.  They are affiliated with Baptist Mid-Missions. Their church’s outreach to the community is similar to churches across America with its Sunday worship services and Youth activities.

Why New Zealand?
New Zealand, like so many modern countries of the world, has taken the Lord’s provisioning for granted. Most people don’t see the need for God in their lives when things are on a even keel.  People are faced with the same temptations and spiritual problems that confront people in small towns and cities in the United States. The Shoaf’s are burdened for the lost in their city and continue to look for ways to reach out to them.
